There are so many reasons why we love Misstencil. We love any artist who’s work can be viewed in the de Young, on the sidewalk and in a KNOWNsf show all at the same time. And we love what inspires her to create, from a persimmon to her deep knowledge of San Francisco’s local history and characters. And we love that she uses recycled materials (and supports SF local businesses who recycle materials like SCRAP) for her work. And we love her infectious personality. And we LOVE to support her commitment to making a living as an artist.
And we love how you can’t tell all this art in the Bean Bag right now is from ONE artist because of all of the above.
